This sub-forum is about "out of body experiences" according to its title. Well, I've never had an OOBE, but have had an unsolicited experience of sudden peace, relief, optimism, happiness - all those good things rolled into one. It came out of nowhere, though I was at Mass at the time, and it certainly put paid to some anxiety I'd been experiencing.
I've never tried to explain this experience as a religious or spiritual one, but I still remember it as something very nice and certainly welcome under the circumstances.
Others I've spoken to have had experiences of this kind that might as well be an OOBE. They've certainly found themselves caught up in something that was not a normal body/mind experience. Some, including atheists, have written about it. For these people the experience was life-changing in a much more dramatic way than my little passing high.
Strange things happen. What can we reasonably make of them?

Not surprising Epic we all have moods from elated through content to sad PLUS Churches are set up to be boring and have all the icons to feed a firtive imagination.
